Natural gas which has been liquefied by reducing its temperature to minus 260 degrees Fahrenheit at atmospheric pressure. It remains a liquid at -116 degrees Fahrenheit and 673 psig. In volume, it occupies 1/600 of that of the vapor at standard conditions.

BEIJING -(Dow Jones)- China stepped up its purchases of liquefied natural gas from the spot market in July, with three cargoes totaling over 185,000 metric tons unloaded at southern ports, data from the General Administration of Customs showed Friday.

Queensland Bid Limits BG's Higher Offer for Origin, UBS Says
